This institute has implemented World Bank financed “Pilot
Sub Project” (related to canal water and land management)
with the full participation of farmers. Under this project
two Water Users Association 40 Kulaba Samiti and 42 SHGs
have been formed. First in UP Canal Water Users Associations
have been Registered Under Societies Registrations Act, 21,
1860.
On the success of the above project followings are achieved.

1. UPBSN
has prepared documentary film on the success of the projects
naming “Nai Disha”. |

2. On
the success of the above project W.B. has sanctioned a big
project to the Govt. of U.P. amounting U.S. & 194.2 million.
The name of the project U.P. Water Sector Restructuring
Project. This institute is implementing UPWSRP in SSK- 36
Janupur, SSK-51 Pratapgarh, and SNK-3 Baharaich. |
